The Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) promotes the transfer of science, engineering, and technology to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities.

Because RESNA has thousands of members in the US and Canada (with seven special interest groups and seven professional specialty groups), Orbit Software Solutions developed a collaborative system and website to cater to the different needs of RESNA’s various audiences – a massive project that needed a majorly creative solution.

Sophisticated CMS

Orbit Software Solutions built over fourteen sites for RESNA, some of which needed to support thousands of members who interact and exchange information every day. Our Drupal masters accomplished this by using efficient and highly sophisticated Drupal CMS features where different domains were developed with complete sets of information for its special interest groups.

Interactive Community

An interactive online community of users was fostered through developing forums and member directory listings.

Interlinked Domains

By interlinking domains, we were able to develop a community of websites, each with a related design, similar architecture, and easily navigable.
